GRACE Care Baskets...Providing Comfort When it is Needed Most.

Missing GRACE Foundation is a first responder, contracting with hospitals to provide support for parents at the time their baby dies. The parents receive all services and resources free of charge. The hospital pays a discounted fee for the GRACE Care Baskets and Totes and the services given to parents in the hospital and in their home are at no charge to the hospital. The parents receive professional quality photos and live video which are used to create a "Making Memories Memorial DVD," all arrangements are taken care of for their baby's memorial service and remains, if requested and needed by the family. They also receive a GRACE Care Basket filled with comforting items, supportive materials and resources.

The GRACE Care Baskets and GRACE Care Totes have the same exact contents. The totes are less cost to ship and take less space to store and therefore most orders being shipped are requested in tote bags rather than baskets. The baskets are nice for hand delivery as it is a very nice presentation and there is a basket to use later on to hold special items in remembrance of baby.

Anyone may order a GRACE Care Basket or Tote for their loved one. A Missing GRACE representative will hand deliver the basket if the order is within the Minnesota Twin Cities Metro and surrounding areas. The GRACE Care Baskets or GRACE Totes that are not hand delivered are shipped express overnight or delivered by currier service. It is important that baskets are received by the parents while still in the hospital with the baby whenever possible. The resources are still of great value and help however, if parents are receiving the basket after they have gone home. If parents are already home, the contents are altered and personalized to include the items that are most appropriate for their situation.

A card expressing the sentiments of the person purchasing the basket or tote are in included and the contents are personalized to include gender specific items (pink or blue or whites and neutral colors if the gender is not known).
