Coon Rapids GRACE Support Group
Dates: The first Monday of every month Meets from: 6:30 to 8:30pm Location: Faith Lutheran Church (Room assignment varies, please check posted sign at the door) 11115 Hanson Blvd. Coon Rapids, MN 55443 ***We ask that you call ahead if you plan to attend so we know to expect you and can plan accordingly. Maple Grove GRACE Support Group
Dates: The second and fourth Tuesdays of each month Meets from: 6:30pm to 8:30pm Location: Maple Grove Covenant Church 9350 Upland Lane Maple Grove, MN 55369 Facilitators: Candy and Stephen McVicar *MGF provides childcare during the meetings. A free will donation towards the childcare fee is appreciated but not required. ** Please email or call Candy at 763-497-0709 for details and let us know when you plan to attend one of our meetings and if you need the childcare. In the support group we have topic led discussions on subjects including: differences in male/female grieving, relationships with friends and family through the grieving journey, coping with holidays and anniversary dates, health issues and concerns, subsequent pregnancy fears, and other related topics. Held in Classroom #7, enter at front doors, turn left down hallway. On occasion the group will do an activity that is helpful for the grieving process. (Scrap booking, crafts, video, having a guest speaker, candle light memorial service, etc.) Held in classroom #7.
